Junior Designer

Hairstory is looking for a Junior Designer to work with the marketing team. You will help the team ideate and create advertising campaigns, email marketing templates, social media posts and other materials to be used for customer acquisition.

This is an entrepreneurial role within an entrepreneurial organization. We are looking for driven, self-starters who are ready to work in a fast-paced startup environment and thrive on seizing opportunity gaps. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create graphics and design layouts for landing pages, e-mail campaigns, online promotions, and other communication materials as needed.
  • Communicate with the team and support campaigns with design solutions.


EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience, ideally with a consumer brand.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience working with Klaviyo a big plus
  • Proficiency with Adobe suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of Sketch and Figma a plus
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle pressure and work to deadlines
  • Organized and capable of multitasking efficiently
  • Ability to think critically and "outside the box"
